It's Actually Cool to be American Again!

Change has finally come! And by the right person. And even if you didn't like Barack Obama you should at least be glad Bush will no longer be our president. I can't wait until January when Obama officially becomes president.

See?! We Americans are smart.

Long Time No See

I haven't posted a new blog in forever so since I have nothing else to do at the moment I should just hurry up and post one.

Sad news, at least for me, my computer crashed a few days ago. So every little thing that I had on it was deleted. All my textures, all my artwork, my mood pictures for my blogs, my music, my videos, and everything else. It's truly a shame. I feel lost without it all, and I have a feeling that it will take a very long time to make up for it. I'm not the only one who has had this happen to them, I'm sure. So you guys have a bit of knowledge about how I feel, right? But there are some benefits that came out of this. My computer actually remembers my email on MSN, Myspace, and Bandaids. So that means that I don't have to type in my name and password each time I want to sign in. What a relief!

Now about The Veronicas. I bet you knew that was coming. I must tell you...they're my new obsession! I don't know how long it's been, a few weeks? So I guess I should tell you how I discovered them.

In the mornings as I'm getting ready for school I watch music videos on MTV, MTV 2, Fuse, and Vh1. So it's pretty obvious that when I saw "Untouched" on Vh1 (I think) that I automatically loved the song. The next morning I saw the music video again and I was like, "Man! This song is awesome!" So when I got home from school that day I downloaded it and listened to it over and over again. As I was listening to "Untouched" on repeat I started doing some researched on these twins chickidys. By watching the videos they posted on YouTube, going to fansites, and looking at a bunch of photos. I also started watching all of their past music videos and they sounded really familiar to me. That was until I saw the Australian version of "4ever". Then I was like, "I know this song! I've seen this video before!" I was so excited, beyond belief. After that I started downloading all of their songs from both "Hook Me Up" and "The Secret Life of...". Learning more about them, and watching all the videos I could. I feel bad that I haven't known them before. But it's not my fault since they were only big in Australia, not here in the US. But I also feel great because they are not too popular in the US yet, so YAY! I'm one of the first American fans...I think.

So What?! I am a Rockstar!

Pink with a "brand new attitude"? How awesome is that!! Notice how that last sentence wasn't a question. So I sure hope you know about Pink's new single. And right now, the only thing better than this song is it's music video!

It's such a great video! It has so many different scenes, and the humor is A Classsssss! The funniest part was when Pink's unpink hair caught on fire. Her reaction is just LOL!!

And since I have no idea on how to post videos on this thing, I'll just post a link!

ps: It's one of the best break-up songs, too!

And the Fannies are...

I always love the last episode of ABDC because of the coast dances. Where all of the eliminated groups come back and are split into groups by which coast they're from and they perform a SUPER routine. Since the lovely Fanny Pak is from LA they were grouped up with Super Cr3w(the winner), and Supreme Soul.

Watch the Cali Contenders, and look out for Fanny Pak in the British Flag jackets!

When The World Gives You Lemons...

...make Lemoncello! Because right now, I have nothing to do. I'm sitting here in my school uniform with my brother playing with a remote control robot, scaring the dog half to death on the floor next to me. Uh-oh, now the robot's dancing to You Spin Me Right Round.

Katy just posted a seven minuet blog on katyperryblog.com. Which is about time missy!! It's been forever since she's given us a nice long blog, so it's nice to have some more Katy. SHE SURVIVED THE WARPED TOUR! She got her nails done!...of mushrooms. She taped the video blog at EVAN's hometown, Baltimore! Which I think is awesome. She got some new underwear from Victoria Secret. Very sexy! She did interviews, shooting covers for magazines! *cover girl pose* And she's about to shoot the music video from Hot 'n' Cold! Which is so exciting. I wonder what she has planned. And she talked about tabloid gossip. She just now got onto the scene, and is already starting to be talked about. I'm just all around stoked that she's going back to blogging! *jumps in air*

The Katy Cats Don't Like My Style

I would like to safely say, that I was voted off of the contest at the second round. Actually, there's no official say that I was voted off, but I'm 100% sure that I will. Since 18 people voted and I got half of the votes. Yes, that means 9 people voted for me to pack up and leave. Here' what I sent in:

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w245/BPS123/Stuff/graphix-01Ver.png

I've been living off of the Avril Fans' artwork for so long. And I think that's what the problem was. The fans over at katyperryforum.com and the fans over at avrilbandaids.com have a complete different sense of what looks good to them, graphic wise.

Most people at Bandaids like simple looking things that still look amazing -- like what made. The people at Katyperryforum.com like the total opposite. And to me, the things they make look REALLY tacky. But that's just me saying. Maybe you would have the same opinion. Go over to katyperryforum.com and see for yourself. No need to make an account.

I did exactly what the challenge told to do. "The theme of this challenge is to capture the energy of Katy live, using pictures, effects, and wording. Your graphics will be critiqued on how well you exemplify motion, excitement, and fun."

All I can say is...I'm better at icons!

Hell No, We Won't Go!

School is just around the corner. So that means less time at home, and more time with obnoxious people that I wish would just drop dead. I know that seems kinda harsh, but that's how I feel.

I'll be going into eighth grade. I'm one grade behind -- long story. The whole learning process is so lame. You don't even learn to learn, you just learn what you need to know to pass this long end of the year test. It has a different name in every state in the US. So since I'm in Florida it's called the FCAT. Everyone freaks out when they hear the word FCAT. I think it's so hilarious. It's like something you'd see in a movie. When someone says a certain evil word you hear dramatic music, a women's scream, a lightning strikes, and everyone gasps.

Long Live Fanny Pak!

If you've never watched TV before in your life and don't live in the US, you just might not know what America's Best Dance Crew is. Who's my favorite dance crew from season 2? Of course! FANNY PAK!

This past Thursday they were put into the bottom 2 along side Super Crew, and were eliminated by ABDC's judges: Shane Sparks, Lil Mama, and JC Chasez. So since Fanny Pak's gone, we all know who's gonna win. Super Crew, because SoReal Cru had no chance to beat Super Crew, or Fanny Pak. So thanks America for voting for SoReal Cru, and pratically voting them to leave.

Maple Syrup is Meant to Have Sugar!

I'm so excited for tonight. Evan(the sexy guy who's sporting as my header) is performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live with Tyga at 12:05. Yes, at night. Which is no problem for me -- I usually stay up later than that. I'm a night wolf!

Tomorrow is the last day for voting for the Graphix contest that I'm in on katyperryforum.com. Critique really helped me out allot. I learned that I'm very simple with my graphics. Maybe next time there's a new contest(if I'm not voted off) I'll try to make my graphic less "simple". Other than that, Matt and the other judges liked what I made. Everyone else's entries were amazing! I was so totally intimidated by everyone's stuff. Everyone else was, too, from what I saw. I just want to know how many people are voting on that thing.

One last thing, I'm writing a new story. I don't have a title for it yet. I usually come up with something as I'm writing it. I could tell you what my direction is, but I don't think I want to do that. That'll ruin it all.

Avril Discovers Her Hand

Credit goes to the Bandaids Genius, Sharifa for posting this hilariousness on Bandaids. This just gives you one more reason to love Avril. You can just about find humor in everything she does. And to me, she is a very funny person. So in the picture it seems like Avril just discovered her own hand. I wouldn't be surprised if she actually forgets her right hand because she's so fascinated with what's on her left. Referring to her HUMONGO wedding ring. Yes, I actually do say "humongo" quite often.

So I was thinking of what she may be thinking and/or saying in this picture and this what I came up with:
1) Ooooo, what's this thing connected to my arm. (lame)

2) Is that a new freckle!?!
3) Watch me do the robot!
That's all I got.

Also, I got some news for you about the katyperryforum.com contest! I am now officially a contestant. And I think that the contest runner person likes what I made. He said that every one's entries were great. Which is a plus! There are some judges that haven't sent him their critiques, so he can't officially start the contest and open the polls until the judges do their job. They better get their ass's' in gear so we can hurry up and get this show on the road! I don't want to wait any longer.

Slaughter and Music Videos

I have to show you these special icons that I made yesterday. I found the bases from some person on Live Journal. Sorry, I don't remember their name. But I do remember it started with a "r"...I think. I posted these same icons on my myspace called Slaughter. Which is where I post all of my artwork at. It's not really successful, but that's just because people are too lazy to add me.

Okay, so, the bases that I got are of mostly all of Avril Lavigne's music videos. I didn't get Sk8er Boi because the link was corrupted, I didn't get Hot because there was none, and I didn't use I'm With You and Losing Grip because it was too hard for me to figure out what to make with them.

I'm just gonna post a link to the blog where I posted them at. They're right on the very top under "Avril Music Videos". The ones below that are things I've made in the past. But that doesn't mean you can't check out those too.

I had a lot of fun making them, and I think that they are a success!

Getting to Know Who?

I'm not sure what the real purpose of this blog is, but hopefully I'll have enough to blog about. Probably stuff about my favorite singers, maybe. Stuff I make with Photoshop, and site stuff. Or just stuff that I do that is at least exciting on my end.
So I should talk about this one cool thing that I'm doing at a forum called katyperryforum.com. I'm kind of nervous that I might do something wrong, and then get rejected. That would not be fun. The contest is called Graphix. And this first challenge you have to make a graphic with a certant photoshoot of Katy. At first, I had problems finding the right pictures, but once I did that I zoomed threw the whole thing and I was finished the same night I was asked to enter the contest. I thought that that was pretty cool, because the person who is in charge of the contest contacted me and asked me to enter the contest. If I wasn't asked I wouldn't have even been in the contest.

The rules say I can't post what I made anywhere on the forum, so I'll post it here because I'm real excited about what I made. It's the first blend that ever made of Katy, and I like it!
